Gross motor development

What Is Gross Motor Development?

Gross motor development is an area of human development and growth that focuses on the core muscle groups. These are the muscles that will, one day, help your child to stand properly, walk, and run. It also helps infants to learn how to crawl as well as sit upright. Most children develop these skills on their own as they learn to move their body and control themselves. However, a lack of core muscle development can lead to problems later.

With the the Crawligator, you can help encourage gross motor development in your child using a safe and effective tool. This system is designed to encourage your child to twist and turn, to build up those core muscles so important for development. And it is a lot of fun! This is a fantastic way for you to work to build your child’s core muscles that they will enjoy as well.
